funkyplanet™ was born in 2007 out of that belief -- the belief that you can be fashionable and conscious, stylish and smart about what matters to the globe. We know what it's like to look at that mess from a single shopping trip, and wonder about the magnitude of it multiplied by a million. So we decided to change our ways!

We looked around and tried other reusable bags that were out on the market, but none of them did the job quite right. The bags were awkward, they didn't hold enough, the handles were uncomfortable -- and they were unstylish, to boot!

With the input of a bevy of friends, who just happened to be seasoned consumers as well, it became a passion for us to create the ideal, reusable bag. We wanted it to be just right. We went through numerous sketches and prototypes to create the perfect design….until voila -- the funkyFLIP™ bag!
